Kalyx is the Math mode of Kinopy. You link number tiles and operator tiles until every equation on the board is right.
Each number branches to two numbers and the operator between them. Read left to right. The three tiles equal the number.
Every Kinopy puzzle has two boards that share one seed. The seed sits on the soil line. The Rootlet grows down from it. The Sapling grows up from it. Kalyx uses the same rule on both boards.
Kalyx is one of five modes. Each mode has its own daily puzzle. As a guest, you play today's daily. Sign in to open past dailies and Endless.
The rule does not change on the Sapling. The seed stays in place, and the board grows up from it.
The Sapling starts from the seed you already saw on the Rootlet, so it asks more of you. It also gives one guess fewer than the Rootlet. The Sapling opens when the Rootlet ends, after a win or a loss.
Take the tile 12. It connects to 3, × and 4, because 3 × 4 = 12.
Follow these steps on the board.
Drag a tile and release it to swap its place. You can also tap one tile, then tap another. Linked tiles move together as a group.
A calyx is the ring of green sepals under a flower. It cups the bud and keeps it safe until the flower opens.
In Kalyx, each number sits on a small cup of three tiles: two numbers and the operator between them. The name also sounds like calc, short for calculate.
